Linebackers:

Along with the defensive line, the linebackers were also instrumental in keeping Penn State in the game.

Finally healthy it seemed, Brandon Bell was a monster on the field, making 11 tackles with eight of them solo.  He also had a tackle for a loss and just seemed to swarm around the ball every chance he got.  Next year with Nyeem Wartman-White and Bell back, the linebackers should be a strength again.

Jason Cabinda also had a solid day with eight tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.  Cabinda and Sickels combining to stop Georgia on their fourth-and-tow late in the game was a thing of beauty, giving Penn State one last shot at tying the game.  Troy Reeder was out for this game but Jake Cooper stepped up and performed admirably with six tackles.
