Linebackers:
Jason Cabinda turned in an outstanding performance against Army as he caused havoc all over the field. He finished with 14 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. His second sack sealed the win with Army driving for what would have been a game-winning score.
True freshman Manny Bowen wasn’t supposed to play this year, but injuries to Nyeem Wartman-White and Brandon Bell have forced him to play, and he played well. Bowen finished with six tackles and a fumble recovery. Troy Reeder had four tackles including one for a loss and Von Walker had three tackles with a fumble recovery.
The linebackers have been pretty impressive with all the injuries. They are going to need to continue to play well as the defense will be tasked to keeping this team in games.
