Linebackers:
Another solid performance by the linebackers this game. Troy Reeder finished second on the team in total tackles with six and also added a half tackle-for-loss. He also laid huge hits on any opposing player. Brandon Bell and Jason Cabinda seemed all over the field again and finished with 4 tackles each. Cabinda also had a half tackle for loss and a pass breakup.
The linebackers have really stepped up in the absence of Nyeem Wartman-White. They fly to the ball on every snap and they wrap tackle when they get to ball carriers.
The front seven as a whole has been really dominant since the first game of the season, especially against the run. Against the Aztecs, they only allowed 101 yards on the ground and they made them earn every one of those yards.
With full conference play right around the corner, I expect them to step up their play.
