Defensive Line:
The defensive line turned in a great performance Saturday. They held the Bulls to 69 rushing yards on 33 attempts. That’s an impressive 2.1 yards-per-rush attempt allowed.
Carl Nassib was a monster in Buffalo’s backfield. He had five tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and a one-handed interception. Even when he wasn’t recording a tackle, he was in the face of Bulls quarterback Joe Licata causing some bad throws.
Defensive tackle Austin Johnson had a great game too, with a career high 9 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
Anthony Zettel and Garrett Sickels also contributed to the dominating performance of the line. Zettel tipped the ball that ended up being intercepted by Nassib.
The foursome dominated and wrecked havoc on the Bulls all afternoon.
