It was a decent performance by the special teams.

In his college debut, kicker Joey Julius hit his lone field goal try of 34 yards and averaged 65 yards on his three kickoffs with one touchback.  Punter Dan Pasquariello averaged 39 yards on nine punts (way too many). With just three of his nine landing inside the 20 yard-line, just a so-so kind of day.

You could see the speed on the returns, especially with Koa Farmer returning kicks.  He averaged 25.6 yards on 5 returns with 35 yards being the longest return.  The return game could be exciting moving forward and they might be relied on to score touchdowns if the offense keeps playing the way it did.

The coverage wasn’t too bad either and bottled up most Temple returns.

For all of that, this unit earns the highest grade of the team.
