The Penn State Nittany Lions will face off against the Boston College Eagles in the Pinstripe Bowl on Saturday inside of Yankee Stadium in New York. Penn State fans may not be very familiar with the Eagles, as it’s been a number of years since the two teams last met.

Fortunately, there are people around the FanSided network who can give us some information about Penn State’s opponent. Victory Bell Rings caught up with Joe Micik, the managing editor at Soaring to Glory, a site dedicated to Boston College sports.

Micik is able to shed some light on Boston College’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as what things to be on the lookout for on Saturday. He also explains what he thinks make the Eagles’ run game so effective and why the defense was able to have such a successful season.
