Sam Ficken went three of four on field goals including his fourth blocked kick of the year. He will have to wait, however, to break the record for the most field goals in a season by a Penn State kicker. Ficken was also solid on kickoffs, putting two in the end zone for touch backs.

Daniel Pasquariello also punted the ball much better than he has been. The young punter averaged 38 yards per punt while putting two inside the 20-yard line. Pasquariello added a long of 49.

The kick return game was better than it has been, but still has plenty of work to do.
