Secondary

With Trevor Williams out win an injury, the young corners had to step up. They certainly did in a big way. Christian Campbell recorded a pick in his first career start and Grant Haley returned an INT for a touchdown. Add in a huge interception by Adrian Amos, an acrobatic grab by Jesse Della Valle and a decent effort from Jordan Lucas and you have a nearly flawless effort.

The secondary was so good that I’m willing to overlook the deep ball touchdown where Lucas was beat. Four interceptions and otherwise an impressive game gives this group an A.
