Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

A tough day for the passing offense as a whole, it just didn’t seem like much was clicking for Hackenberg or his receiving corps. Chris Godwin was the leading receiver, pacing the unit with just 31 yards. Leading receiver DaeSean Hamilton was able to muster just four receptions for 26 yards and dropped a touchdown late in the game.

In a day where the run game and the offensive line were tremendous, the passing game just didn’t thrive and didn’t look cohesive as a unit. Early in the season, this group looked very promising, and the ability is still there, but the last few weeks haven’t been pretty for the passing game as  a whole.
