Linebackers

In maybe the most surprising takeaway from the day, Mike Hull looked human against the Hoosiers. Hull finished with seven tackles on the day and allowed Diamont to evade him a few times in the backfield. It wasn’t Hull’s best performance, but it didn’t need to be. Nyeem Wartman and Brandon Bell helped pick up the slack. Wartman contributed seven tackles and a huge interception late in the ball game. Bell tossed in six tackles, two of them coming behind the line, for an active day for the linebacking crew. This group has been a huge strength for the Nittany Lions and Saturday was no different.
