Offensive Line

The line developed some push in the run game, but Lynch and Belton did a lot of their work in the open field, especially on the 92-yard TD run. However, it wasn’t a terrible effort run blocking. The passing game? Completely different story. The hits keep coming for this crew, as they allowed five sacks and tons of pressure. One of Hack’s picks can be attributed to extreme pressure. I understand this group is young and inexperienced. They’re also missing their leader in Donovan Smith. But this unit has completely hindered the offense and the offensive game plan. On a positive note, Miles Dieffenbach returned to action, but it may be too late to truly help the group.
