Secondary

The secondary limited the Maryland passing attack to just 161 yards on Saturday. Marcus Allen had another big game, picking up 11 tackles, a sack and a breakup. Jordan Lucas was stellar in coverage, as always. Trevor Williams also got in the mix to force a fumble for the defense. The secondary has been very good, albeit without generating a whole lot of big plays. As long as the unit can continue to limit yards and start forcing some more turnovers, they’ll be very good. Three 15-yard penalty calls (two on Allen, one on Lucas) are inexcusable and they need to be able to hold their emotions in check.
