Secondary

This is a tough group to grade due to Ohio State’s mostly run oriented offense. It was certainly a solid effort, as they allowed only 74 yards through the air. Freshman Marcus Allen had his coming out party in place of the injured Ryan Keiser, making 11 tackles and breaking up two balls. Jordan Lucas was solid, adding a pass breakup as well. Adrian Amos was effective in the run game picking up seven tackles. There were a few times where the secondary got blocked off the edge and allowed a few nice gains in the run game, but nothing really major.

Grade: B+
