Linebackers

The Mike Hull show was in full effect once again with 11 tackles, 2 TFL and a sack. Hull also was inches away from taking a pick to the house, but was unable to corral the ball. Hull continues to be the steady presence on the Penn State defense, showing time after time that he’s more than capable of getting the job done and commanding the defense. Nyeem Wartman was solid in his return from injury with six tackles. I’d like to see Wartman or Brandon Bell come up with a big play every now and then and take some pressure off Hull, but ultimately the linebacking corps is not to blame for the team’s struggles.
