Offensive Line

The picture above completely exemplifies the type of job the offensive line did on Saturday. Hack was left with no time to throw, was under duress and hit constantly and sacked six times. The line was expected to be bad, losing as much as they did, but this is otherworldly bad. When your team’s offensive game plan has to be structured in ways that hide players’ true talents because of the struggling offensive line, it’s bad. Normally in these situations, you can just give other linemen a shot, but with the scholarships still down because of the sanctions, Penn State doesn’t really possess that ability. The year will only get longer if the group can’t figure something out. With Joey Bosa and the Ohio State D-line coming to town, they better get it done fast.
