Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

It was not a great day for the receivers, as they failed to do much in terms of helping their quarterback. DaeSean Hamilton was solid, catching seven passes for 58 yards, but the rest of the group failed to inspire. After sitting out the first drive, Geno Lewis failed to provide the downfield threat he has all year long. The tight end trio combined for six catches for 42 yards. Nothing groundbreaking there. This unit has been one of the strengths this year, but Saturday that wasn’t the case. The group got little-to-no separation from Michigan DB’s forcing Hack to hold onto the ball for too long. Add in a few dropped passes and it wasn’t an efficient day for the positional grouping.
