Defensive Line

A plethora of defensive linemen saw action for the Nittany Lions in the blowout win. All of them managed to disrupt the Minutemen attack and have some sort of impact on the game.

Young guys like Parker Cothren (3 tackles, 1 TFL), Garrett Sickels (2 tackles, 1 sack) and Tarow Barney (1 TFL, 1 FF) all made big splashes during the game.

Austin Johnson (1 TFL, 1 FR) was disruptive all game long and Anthony Zettel and Deion Barnes were essentially unneeded for the Penn State defensive line. It was also nice to get Evan Schwan and Curtis Cothran in the game.

The D-line was stout all game long and was a huge reason UMass only had 3 rushing yards.
