Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

Like I said earlier, with a win like this, I’m not going to nitpick too much. The crop of receivers and tight ends were solid yesterday, and that’s all they needed to be.

Geno Lewis and DaeSean Hamilton continue to impress and look to have big futures for the Nittany Lions. Lewis looks fast and is great at adjusting to the deep ball, as he did on a catch down the sideline in the second half. Hamilton is crafty after the catch, doing a lot of his damage on screens and quick hitters on Saturday.

There were a few drops and I would still like to see more production from the tight ends, especially Kyle Carter. However, It was nice to see Saeed Blacknall and Chris Godwin get some extended playing time once Penn State was up big.

Finally, nice job by Brent Wilkerson to pull down his 1st career collegiate touchdown.
