Linebackers

Mike Hull continues to rack up the tackles, leading the way with nine for the Nittany Lions. Nyeem Wartman registered three tackles and a tackle for loss and Brandon Bell only recorded one tackle, but registered an interception on what was one of the biggest plays of the game.

While the interception didn’t result in any points for the Nittany Lions, it kept the score at 10-6 after Rutgers was given good field position to start. Gary Wooten also saw some time in this one contributing a tackle.

The linebacking crew was solid in coverage as well. It was another workmanlike performance from the Penn State linebackers.
