Offensive Line:

In the position grouping that has brought about the most speculation, the offensive line showed that they still need time to mesh.

The line got zero push in the run game, as the team was held to just 57 running yards. Sure, Hackenberg was only sacked twice, but he was scrambling away from pressure for much of the day, including on his second interception.  I know this is a very inexperienced line with two former defensive tackles handling most of the duties at guard, but the Nittany Lions need the line to come together and figure things out soon.

This will be the key to Penn State’s season the rest of the way and will be the deciding factor on just how explosive the offense could be.
