Texas at Kansas State (-11)
Kansas State’s shot at a title evaporated in Waco a couple of weeks back in the Baylor loss, but a win at home against Texas still sends the Wildcats into the BCS as the Big 12 champs. Texas can save some level of respect by knocking off the Wildcats in the Little Apple.
Matt – Kansas State
Bill Snyder saw perhaps his last great chance at a national championship disappear in the upset loss at Baylor, but he and Collin Klein (remember him?) are not going to let their BCS dream die too. Texas is a mess, and Mack Brown can’t seem to figure out what the right move is. Kansas State wins this one going away.
Tim – Kansas State
This seems like a lock. Texas has struggled all year long. Kansas State has not. They’ll have the best player on the field and they’re playing at home. I like K State big here.
Craig – Texas
I just think this number is too high. While K State probably wins, I like getting double-digits with a talented team. If Texas can stuff the run, watch for an upset.
Corey – Kansas State
Kansas State has had two weeks to stew over the fact that they won’t be playing for the national title. However, a win over Texas would cement their Big 12 conference title and a place in a BCS Bowl game. Texas looked completely out of sorts on Thanksgiving night, and the Wildcats have had plenty of time to find all of Texas’ soft spots. Don’t be surprised if the Wildcats jump out early and never look back. I’ll say the Kansas State will win by two touchdowns, so I’ll go with them laying the 11 points.
