Alabama (-7.5) vs. Georgia

As it probably should be, the SEC title game will serve as a national semi final, with the winner headed to Miami to take on Notre Dame in about 4 months.  Georgia’s lone loss came in a blowout at South Carolina, while the Tide was upset at home by Jonathan Football and Texas A&M.  The winner gets second life and a shot at the title, while the loser goes to Disney World, and the Capital One Bowl.

Matt – Georgia

I went back and forth on this one.  Georgia has improved a ton since their loss in Columbia (the one in South Carolina, not Missouri), and Alabama hasn’t exactly been impressive of late, especially if you ignore the blowout win in the Iron Bowl.  The Aggies exposed some weaknesses in the Tide defense, and I’m a big Aaron Murray fan.  I have no idea who wins this, but I think it’s very close.

Tim – Alabama

That’s a lot of points but I think Nick Saban will have his team on a mission. I have underrated UGA all year and I know they’re a good team but I’m already looking forward to an Alabama –  Notre Dame championship. Roll Tide.

Craig – Alabama

If Georgia keeps it within two touchdowns that a moral victory. Bama controls the game with their defense.

Corey – Georgia

I really think Alabama is the all-around better football team  in this game and will represent the SEC in the national title game.  With that said, I’m worried about the extra half-point.  My prediction for this football game is 27-20 Alabama.  I wn;t be surprised to see this game come down at least a half point by kickoff, if not more.  Georgia has a solid offense with some dynamic running backs, they could give the ‘Bama defense some problems.  In the end though, I think ‘Bama has just enough to punch their tickets to Miami.
