LSU (-3.5) at Texas A&M
Fresh off a must have win against South Carolina in Baton Rouge, the Tigers head to Texas to face the Aggies. Kevin Sumlin’s crew hung on for a wild win against Louisiana Tech last weekend, and looks to claim their first marquee SEC win.
Matt – LSU
Did LSU finally figure it out last week? Can they do it two weeks in a row? Let’s be honest, with Les Miles, who knows. But what I think I know is that Texas A&M is not nearly as good as LSU, and 3.5 points is more than enough, even on the road .
Tim – LSU
While I’m going against my own philosophy, I might as well take two road SEC teams, no? Plus, who really considers tAMu an SEC team right now? The Aggies lost at home to Florida and I think it happens again this weekend. LSU is flying high off their win last week and they’ll cover, but just barely.
Craig – LSU
I know A&M has a nice home field advantage but I just don’t buy them right now. The half-point scares me, but I am going to go with who I perceive as a better all-around team. LSU should be able to control the game with stout D and solid running game.
Corey – LSU
To me, this could be the most interesting SEC match-up of the weekend. What do we really know about Texas A&M and their freshman phenom QB Johnny Manziel? His only game against a top-notch defense (Florida), he lost. This week comes another stout defense in LSU. The Tigers are fresh off of their top-10 win over South Carolina. Can they keep the momentum rolling as they enter the home of the 12th Man and Kyle Field? I think they can. LSU is used to playing in big games like this as well as playing in hostile environments. Look for LSU to take control in the second half much the way Florida did. The Tigers will get another resume-building win as they leave College Station with a hard-fought win and a cover.
