South Carolina at Florida (-3)
One team looking to hang onto national title hopes, while another looks to continue a run towards the BCS. The Gamecocks fell victim to Death Valley last week, and now head to The Swamp. Florida looks to claim a second major SEC scalp this season against Gator legend Steve Spurrier.
Matt – Florida
Last week I expected the Gamecocks to dominate LSU’s offense, and do just enough on offense to win in Baton Rouge. Fool me once? Same on you. Fool me twice? Not going to happen. Florida uses the Tigers’ blue print and a raucous Gainesville crowd to hand South Carolina their second straight loss.
Tim – South Carolina
I’ve been riding home SEC teams all year, but this is the game Florida has been waiting on. They aren’t good enough to run the table and have to lose in the conference. The Gamecocks are not in a position to lose two in a row and see their championship aspirations go down the draiin. I’ll take USCe for the win.
Craig – Florida
Going to take the home team here as I wasn’t too impressed with South Carolina last week. Unless Connor Shaw can do something he couldn’t versus LSU, I see Florida with the advantage.
Corey – Florida
South Carolina is coming off a tough defeat at the hands of LSU. Now they go from the frying pan (Death Valley) to the fire (The Swamp). Florida is an extremely tough place to play, and South Carolina is going to find out how tough on Saturday. It should be another defensive struggle, but unlike LSU, Florida has some more offensive weapons to be able to score more points. The Gator defense will be able to limit Marcus Lattimore and Connor Shaw. I like the Gators laying the home-field 3 points at home.
