Kansas State at West Virginia (-3)
The Wildcats head East to continue their dominance of the Big 12. They’ll find a Mountaineer squad looking to atone for an embarrassing loss in Lubbock last week.
Matt – Kansas State
West Virginia was smacked back to reality last week against Texas Tech. Suddenly Geno Smith looked human when facing a strong Red Raider defense, and it doesn’t get any easier with Bill Snyder’s crew. Kansas State doesn’t have the high powered offense to run up a big number on WVU’s uhh…”defense”, but it will be more than enough to at least cover, if not win in Morgantown.
Tim – West Virginia
I would not touch this game in real life. I’m not sold on Kansas State. I was sold on WVU until last week, at least offensively. Did Texas Tech draw a blueprint or are they defensively superior? I’ll bet on Geno Smith and lay the points in Morgantown.
Craig – West Virginia
I won’t overreact to a terrible performance by WVU last week. K State keeps winning but their offense is pretty bad. I expect more from WVU. If K State can show up defensively, WVU is in trouble.
Corey – Kansas State
The Mountaineers are coming off of their first loss of the season to Texas Tech. What do the Red Raiders and the Kansas State Wildcats have in common…they play a stout brand of defense. Geno Smith and the West Virginia offense struggled with a team that could slow them down. Look for Kansas State to do the same things this weekend. Its still a guess as to who will win the game, but I think the Wildcats keep this game close enough to cover the 3 points.
