Michigan State at Michigan (-10)
Little brother visits Ann Arbor looking to run their winning streak over Michigan to 5 straight. Michigan looks to keep things going after back to back strong wins, while Michigan State looks to save a season that is quickly getting away from them.
Matt – Michigan State
I was not sold on either team coming into the season, and while Sparty has clearly proven me right, Michigan remains a mystery. Two losses, but to two undefeated teams. Four wins, but against who? MSU’s defense will be a good test for Denard Robinson, while MSU’s offense needs to show a signs of life for them to have any chance. Michigan will win this game, but State’s defense keeps them around all day to cover.
Tim – Michigan State
I’m not sure why we are all of a sudden supposed to forget about Michigan’s September. They’re a decent football team, but they have some serious flaws. Michigan State is on the verge of watching their season fall apart and they’ll play with some urgency, right? Right? Plus, they’ve owned “big brother” lately.
Craig – Michigan State
My original thought was ‘wow MSU is terrible and Michigan looks good’.. however, it’s very hard for me to give up double-digits in a rivalry game. Plus, money has moved the line from 11.5 to 10 so I’ll go with the money.
Corey – Michigan
Wow, did the Spartans lay a goose egg last week! To be fair, the weather was bad and the Iowa defense is really not that bad. But, the Wolverines have come out of the bye week spitting fire and nails, and teams like Purdue and Illinois have been in the way. This week, the lowly Spartans, a team having fallen so far from their pre-season lofty status, is coming to Ann Arbor, and their offense is a mess. Right now, the Wolverines are clicking on all cylinders…it’s hard to against the fighting Denard’s!
