Nebraska at Ohio State (-3.5)

Both teams are coming off thrilling come from behind wins to open their Big 10 schedules.  Ohio State scored a late 3rd quarter TD in East Lansing and held on late to beat the Spartans, while the Huskers scored 20 unanswered points in the 2nd half to erase a 27-10 deficit and top Wisconsin.  The old Horseshoe on the Olentangy will be rocking under the lights Saturday when arguably the two top teams in the Big 10 meet for a huge inter division match up.

Matt – Ohio State

This one might as well be for the Big 10 championship the way things have gone this season for the league. I’ve been on the Husker’s bandwagon all summer, and while I love the offense, I worry about their ability to stop, well, anyone, let alone Braxton Miller.  Taylor Martinez and Rex Burkhead will struggle to get things going against a tough OSU rush defense, and when Martinez is forced to throw, bad things happen.  Between Miller’s legs, and a loud Buckeye crowd, Ohio State wins this one.

Tim – Nebraska

The Buckeyes burnt me last week and they return home to play at night. I still think they’re one dimensional and they will likely be without starting running back Jordan Hall. This may be the battle for best in the B1G and I like Nebraska to at least keep it within a field goal.

Craig – Nebraska

Like this line a lot more at 5 but over a field goal is worth a take. This game is a lot like the OSU/MSU game to me, in that taking the points in the right way to play. Not sure who walks out the winner, but take the points.

Corey – Ohio State

Nebraska won this game last year in Lincoln.  This year is a different story.  Both teams are killing it on the ground and struggling to move the ball through the air.  The Ohio State offense literally runs through Braxton Miller while Nebraska has Taylor Martinez as well as running backs Rex Burkhead and Ameer Abdullah.  The problem for the Cornhuskers is their inability to stop the opposing team from scoring.  We saw it last week when they played Wisconsin and a few weeks ago when they were torched at UCLA.  Ohio State has been able to reign in the opposing teams best runner and keep them off the scoreboard.  That is going to be the difference in this game.  Take Ohio State favored by the hometown 3-points plus the half!
