Kansas State at Oklahoma (-14)

Another big early season conference match up, between two teams that have yet to be challenged. The Wildcats have yet to leave Manhattan, KS, and neither team has faced a team as good as the one they will see Saturday.

Matt – Oklahoma

The Sooners are always good for at least one loss a season that should never happen, but this is not it.  Kansas State has yet to leave The Little Apple, or face a team even half as talented as Oklahoma (sorry Miami).  Oklahoma, in Norman is going to be a chore, and I think the OU wins big.

Tim – Kansas State

Part of me thinks that Oklahoma at home, following a bye should be a lock to blow out Kansas State. Part of me thinks Bob Stoops is due to be on the hot seat. Kansas State is averaging 250 rushing yards per game. That should allow them to limit OU’s possessions, somewhat, plus I like a top 15 team getting two touchdowns.

Craig – Kansas State

Really not sure about this game but I’m going to go with K State’s D being able to keep them in a tight one. K State looks to have enough offense to match Oklahoma’s scoring here and I see them playing Oklahoma tough.

Corey -Oklahoma

This game boils down to the ability of Kansas State to run the ball effectively and control the clock against the Sooners defense.  Look for Oklahoma to jump out early in this game, much like last year.  This is going to cause Kansas State to have to abandon the run sooner than they would like.  Oklahoma wins this in convincing fashion.
