We are now in the middle of the first week of preparation for Penn State’s opening game of the 2014 season. Penn State is set to take on the UCF Knights in the Croke Park Classic in Dublin, Ireland.

These two teams met last year in Happy Valley with the Knights pulled of the 34-31 upset victory in a game that featured a ton of offense. This year’s version takes place in the Croke Park Classic in Dublin, Ireland. The Nittany Lions, led by new head coach James Franklin, will have revenge on their minds when they take the field.

This weekly feature highlights three Nittany Lions to keep an eye on in the upcoming game. Anyone could make this list, ranging from a player on a hot streak, someone making their first start or a player who needs to rebound from a poor performance.

Take a look at VBR’s first edition of the weekly Penn State players to watch.
