Penn State Football Morning Briefing: DaeSean Hamilton Ready to Break Out, UMass Previewed, and Other News

Today’s Penn State news starts with the news that former Penn State player Adam Taliaferro and former Rutgers player Eric LeGrand have been named honorary game captains for the Penn State vs. Rutgers game in New Jersey on September 13.

Taliaferro and LeGrand both suffered career ending spinal injuries while playing for their respective schools. LeGrand has yet to fully recover from his injury. In other news, Jesse James and Deion Barnes are both profiled and Black Shoe Diaries wonders which Penn State tight end will have the best season in 2014. Finally, wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton could be ready for a breakout season in 2014.
