The biggest Penn State news today is the fact that the Nittany Lions open training camp for the 2014 season today under new head coach James Franklin.

The Nittany Lions face UCF in a little more than three weeks in the Croke Park Classic in Dublin, Ireland and will take advantage of the time in training camp to prepare for the upcoming season. Penn State opens camp with 105 total players, including 15 starters and 41 letterwinners from last year.
