Penn State Football Morning Briefing: Nittany Lions Receive Two Commitments, Make Other Offers, and Other News

It was a busy weekend for Penn State as far as recruiting goes. Head coach James Franklin and his staff hosted a camp for many recruiting targets.

When it was all said and done, the Nittany Lions received verbal commitments, one for the class of 2015 and the first one for the class of 2016. Aside from the commitments, Franklin also extended offers to some top prospects in the class of 2016. In continuing to get fans ready for the upcoming season, safety Ryan Keiser and cornerback Trevor Williams are both profiled. Elsewhere, according to Campus Insiders, the Nittany Lions will be successful under Franklin’s leadership, but it will take some time. Finally, Victory Bell Rings thinks the Nittany Lions must be successful on the road this season.
