Before we know it, the Penn State Nittany Lions will be on the field for the 2014 season. Just like last year, VBR will be brining you several weekly features to get you ready for the upcoming game. Each will we will give you keys to the game, a preview of the opponent and three Nittany Lions to keep an eye on. In the meantime, in preparation for the season, VBR will be brining you a series of freshmen to watch, offensive players to watch, and defensive players to watch.

This first installment focuses on three interesting storylines Penn State fans will want to keep an eye on during the 2014 season.

Obviously, there have been a lot of changes at Penn State over this past offseason. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the team and the new coaching staff. The team itself has a lot of returning starters, but will also face depth issues at certain positions.

The following slides highlight three things to watch at Penn State as the 2014 season goes on.
