Today’s Penn State news touches on everything from recruiting to outlooks for the 2014 season. Sports Illustrated takes a look at how head coach James Franklin has set the stage for the future with his 2015 recruiting class. As for Franklin, his style doesn’t seem to be making many friends among other college football coaches.

Despite the feelings of others, he’s building future teams at Penn State and just offered a 2016 wide receiver. Elsewhere, wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton is previewed in a continuing series. Finally, college football expert Phil Steele feels the Nittany Lions have one of the least experienced offensive lines in all of the nation.
