Penn State Football Morning Briefing: 'Spider' Calls it a Career, Christian Hackenberg on NFL Radar and Other News

Friday’s Penn State news is highlighted by the announcement that longtime equipment manager Brad “Spider” Caldwell is retiring from Penn State after 31 years of service. He plans on moving to Vermont and will be greatly missed by the Penn State community. Elsewhere, there are a number of player profiles to get fans ready for the season. Bill Belton, Antoine White and Geno Lewis are all profiled. Also, quarterback Christian Hackenberg‘s name has already landed on the radars of some NFL teams after his impressive freshman season.
