Penn State Football Morning Briefing: Nittany Lions to Practice on Sundays, A Recruit Rises in Rankings and Other News

In today’s Penn State news, head coach James Franklin announced an interesting piece of information on Wednesday during the Coaches Caravan stop in Bethlehem, PA. The Nittany Lions will be practicing on Sundays during the season, and will use Monday as an off-day. In recruiting news, class of 2015 defensive end Ryan Buchholz moves up to a 4-star recruit according to Rivals and appears in the latest edition of the Rivals250 and summer grades are handed out for Penn State’s 2015 recruiting class. Elsewhere, James Franklin talks about the challenges of opening up the 2014 season in Ireland. Also, Franklin has revealed his plan to change the way the team arrives at Beaver Stadium on game days.
