Penn State Football Morning Briefing: 3 Former Nittany Lions Drafted, Penn State Lands 3-Star Safety and Other News

The majority of this morning’s Penn State news has to do with how some former Nittany Lions fared in the draft. As expected, Allen Robinson, DaQuan Jones and John Urschel were all selected by teams in the 2014 NFL Draft. Robinson, the star wide receiver at Penn State the last two seasons, could be part of something big in Jacksonville. In news not related to the draft, head coach James Franklin and his staff remained busy on the recruiting trail, especially in the Mid-Atlantic region, by signing a 3-star safety, the 16th member of Penn State’s 2015 class.
