While there won’t be actual football for the next few months until practice starts back up, the Penn State news doesn’t stop.  A variety of topics are discussed coming out of the weekend. The Nittany Lions appear to be on track for success in 2014 thanks to several key returning players. Elsewhere, CBS Sports ranks the Nittany Lions No. 21 in the preseason top-25 poll, while a CBS Sports writer feels the Joe Paterno statue planned for State College is a bad idea. There were not any new verbal commitments in the last few days, but there are some recruiting notes from the Nike camps that took place over the weekend.
