Penn State fans throughout the region will get a chance to get up close with James Franklin and various other Penn State coaches as part of the annual Coaches Caravan. The tour begins on May 1 and will make stops at 17 different locations over three weeks.
Franklin is scheduled to be at every stop to spread his mission and vision for the Nittany Lions.
The tour will start on the Penn State campus with an evening reception at the Pegula Ice Arena at 5:00 pm. 13 of the events will be in the state of Pennsylvania. The tour will also go to Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, New York City and Northern New Jersey. The May 6 lunch reception in York is sold out. Other locations are starting to fill up fast.
Several assistant coaches are planning on joining Franklin at some of the stops. Charles Huff Herb Hand, Ricky Rahne, Terry Smith and Sean Spencer and Bob Shoop are all scheduled to appear at various times.
