The good recruiting news continues to roll in for James Franklin and the Penn State Nittany Lions. A day after receiving a commitment from 4-star offensive lineman Steven Gonzalez, the Nittany Lions got a commitment from 4-star linebacker Josh Barajas. One of the best linebacker recruits in the nation, Barajas, a native of Indiana, was believed to have Notre Dame at the top of his list, but announced on Sunday that he’d be coming to Happy Valley. Barajas shared the news on his Twitter account.

247Sports has Barajas rated as the No. 2 inside linebacker in the 2015 class. He had many offers from big-time schools, including: Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. Barajas visited Penn State last weekend and met with Franklin and the coaching staff.
The Nittany Lions’s 2015 class is currently ranked as the No. 2 class according to 247Sports. There are 11 recruits in the class so far, eight of which are rated 4-stars. In a short time, Franklin has done a fantastic job of getting top talent to commit to Penn State.
