Evil Bill O’Brien’s Weekly Pick Six To Go – Week 15 (Championship Weekend)

A 4-2 mark last week and I hit my upset special.  Also, Penn State went into Madison and ruined Ed Cunningham and all the rest of the Wisconsin fans weekend.  It was a great way to end the season and this will be my last picks before I choose a few bowl games.  You know, Christmas is coming and I have a poem to write.

Duke (+29) vs. Florida State

Just like I predicted in August, Duke will face off vs. Florida State.  (Don’t bother looking that up and just trust me).  Florida State is going to win this game and play for the BCS Championship.  Duke has been a great story, but they lost to Pitt and that is really unforgivable.

Florida State 55 Duke 16

Oklahoma (+10) at Oklahoma State

Not a championship game, but a pretty good ending game.  Okie State is not even mentioned for the BCS Championship game even though they only have 1 loss.  That loss was to West Virginia so that seems about right they’re not getting mentioned.  Oklahoma has a 9-2 record, but the losses to Texas and Baylor really show that this team is decent, just not great.  Okie State is playing for a BCS bowl and will roll.

Oklahoma State 34 Oklahoma 22

Texas (+15) at Baylor

Texas is still ranked and bogus websites/twitter accounts are saying Saban is headed to Austin.  Texas fired their defensive coordinator earlier in the year and have bounced back to potentially give Mack Brown 1 more year.  Baylor had their chance and fell flat on their face.  Baylor would like nothing more though than to beat down Texas to end their regular season.

Baylor 48 Texas 24

Stanford (+3) at Arizona State

Todd Graham in the Rose Bowl seems wrong.  Then again, Bielema was there the last few years and the tradition of that game has been tainted by that.  Stanford is a tough nut to crack and predicting their games is pretty impossible.  I think Arizona State will win, but I just can’t pick them.

Stanford 27 Arizona State 20

Missouri (+2) at Auburn

In the grueling SEC two teams that were terrible last year are now playing for the title.  If that happened in another conference, the conference would be ridiculed relentlessly.  Not in the SEC, it just proves how great it is I guess.  These teams are really good and it should be a good game.  I am picking the team no one thought would ever compete in the SEC.

Missouri 26 Auburn 23

Upset Special

Michigan State (+6) vs. Ohio State

A great D vs. a great O.  A guy I don’t really like vs. a guy I loathe.  A fanbase I have no opinion on really vs. one I generally dislike.   Ohio State should win, but maybe I can hit my last 2 upset specials.

Michigan State 21 Ohio State 20

Year to date record:  55-28 (4-10 Upset Special)
