It was hard to predict how things would go in 2013 for the Penn State Nittany Lions. The 2012 team had a very successful and emotional season and left some big shoes to fill. Heading into this season, several senior leaders had to be replaced. This year’s team also had to deal with several players changing positions and a lack of depth. Amid difficult circumstances, the Nittany Lions were able to put up seven wins.

The season ended on a very high note when Penn State upset the favored Wisconsin Badgers on the road.

With no bowl game this year at Penn State, it’s time to begin reflecting on the season that was. The following slides point out three positives that should be taken away from the 2013 season.
