Penn State is playing Purdue at just the right time of the year. Questions about the state of the Nittany Lions team, the coaching staff, players, injuries, and lack of depth abound. Penn State limps home off of their defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Penn State’s opponent Saturday, none other than Boilermakers of Purdue. The Boilermakers, losers of 8 of their last 9 games including 7 in a row, come calling to Beaver Stadium. While you can never take an opponent lightly, Penn State must be licking its chops as a wounded Purdue team comes into Happy Valley.
