Penn State Football: Random Thoughts on the Michigan Game

I’ve spent the better part of the 24 hours since the end of Saturday night’s game to when I’m writing this trying to reconcile just what we saw.  The crowd, the drama, the noise.  Oh my, the noise.  Penn State’s 43-40, quadruple overtime win is one of those games where all 107,884 in attendance will remember for the rest of their lives, and twice that number will claim to have been there in 20 years.  Quite simply, it was one of those nights that make college football the amazing game it is.  I have had a tough time trying to figure out just what to write, with so much rolling through my head, so here are a few things that stood out to me.

    “For as much undeserved bashing as the coaches took after the IU game, they deserve as much credit for getting this team ready for the big stage Saturday.” That goes both ways my man. If you deserve credit then you deserve blame, and they damn sure deserved blame last week. It makes no sense to say they deserve as much credit as they got undeserved blame.. that’s non equatorial.
