LB Mike Hull

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Linebacker Mike Hull had a great game against Indiana. On a day where the Penn State defense struggled to stop the fast-paced Hoosiers, Hull still put up solid numbers. He recorded 10 total tackles and a half sack. He was playing after missing the previous before with an injury.

Hull will be needed on Saturday to contain a Michigan offense that can rack up both yards and points.

Dual-threat quarterback Devin Gardner has 1,036 passing yards and 318 rushing yards this season. He’s also added 14 total touchdowns. Running back Fitzgerald Toussaint has rushed for 397 yards with seven touchdowns.

It will be up to Hull and the rest of the linebackers to keep the Michigan weapons contained and keep Gardner in the backfield.
