No. 12 South Carolina at Central Florida
12:00 pm ABC
A matchup between a ranked SEC team and an unranked team from the American Athletic Conference is not a game that Penn State fans would typically be interested in. However, this game is different. The last time Central Florida was on a football field, the Knights defeated Penn State 34-31 at Beaver Stadium.
Central Florida is 3-0 on the season and will be looking for a huge victory at home.
Quarterback Blake Bortles has had a fantastic start to the year, throwing for 816 yards with seven touchdowns and just one interception. Running back Storm Johnson has seven total touchdowns and has shown the ability to be a major offensive weapon.
The Knights will have a tough test against South Carolina, even at home. The Gamecocks have a solid quarterback in Connor Shaw and of course, they boast the top defender in the country, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
If Central Florida is able to pull off the upset, Penn State’s loss to the Knights won’t feel so bad.
