Once he got his offer just a little over one week ago, it did not take Milville, New Jersey native Antoine White long to make up his mind. After unofficially visiting Penn State over the weekend, White verbally committed to the Lions earlier today.

247 ranks White as a 3-star prospect, and the 22nd best player in New Jersey. Penn State was the 4th Big 10 program to offer him, joining Michigan State, Maryland, and Rutgers. Vanderbilt, Boston College, Pitt, and Syracuse were also in on White. Prior to the offer from PSU, the Spartans appeared to hold a slight lead over the Scarlet Knights.
Bill O’Brien and the staff now have just 2 spots remaining in the NCAA mandated 15 person class. It would seem likely that 1 of those spots will go to a defensive tackle, with offers on the table to Thomas Holley, Derrick Nnadi, Ricky Walker, and Cory Johnson (JUCO). All 4 players are among the most highly coveted tackles in the country, and will likely not be making any decisions soon.
Welcome to Penn State, Antoine!
