Twitter Tuesday-April Fools' Edition

Yesterday was the day you could argue the Internet was made for, April Fools’ Day.  With the proliferation of Twitter, Facebook and other social networks, it’s become shockingly easy to fool the masses. Sunday night, into Monday morning, several of Penn State’s highest profile players took to cyberspace to do just that.  And boy were they successful.  What follows is a tweet by tweet account of a nervy, if not amusing, hour or so, courtesy of The Supa Six.  Several tweets were deleted, so we have had to show those in italics, instead of the fancy looking embedded tweets.

That would of course be star DB Adrian Amos, lighting the proverbial fuse.

Kyle Carter adding some gasoline…

I’m not going to panic just yet, but something is up, right?

I love my bros, and we will continue to be like family, I’m sorry I had to do this but I will no longer be attending penn state — Allen Robinson (@TheeSmoove8)

This can’t be happening, this can’t be happening…

Oh, good one guys!

Mr. Barnes (I call him Mr. Barnes because he terrifies me) thinks you’re crazy. If Mr. Barnes says it, it’s true.

All in all, a pretty fun few minutes.  Given the seemingly daily questions these guys got throughout last season, and into the off season, about their future, can you really blame them for having some fun, even if it did send PSU fans into a panic?  I just wish I could have seen Uncle Ron’s face when he found out it was a hoax.  No, wait, I don’t want to see his face at all.
