One of the more intriguing stories of the 2014 recruiting class is going to be JUCO offensive tackle Jermaine Elumunor. Jermaine hails from England, but currently attends Lacawanna Community College in Scranton. He is a newcomer to football, having picked up the game when his family moved to New Jersey when he was 14. 247 gives him 4 stars already, but his offer list might make him one of the most sought after offensive linemen in the country. In addition to the Nittany Lions, Eluemunor has offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Florida State, among others. Still being a relative newcomer to American football, Jermaine had not even visited a major college campus, until he arrived in Happy Valley yesterday.
By all accounts, the visit went very well. Instead of taking my word for it, here’s what Jermaine had to say on Twitter throughout the day:
Penn states stadium is HUUUGEEE!

Jermaine has already said he will be back on campus next month for the Blue White Game on April 20th, and is tentatively planning his official visit in November for the Nebraska game. He is not planning an early commitment, and is taking visits to many of those other schools. With those other schools on the list, it still remains to be seen just where the Lions stand. But already planning a return visit just a few weeks later, and an official visit down the road can’t be a bad thing.
