Penn State Adds Fourth Commitment

Sunday already brought a plethora of good news for Penn State’s 2013 recruiting class, with the commitments of Zayd Issah, Anthony Smith,  and Jonathan Walton.  Before Sunday turned to Monday, PSU added a 4th, as Taft Coghill, Jr. of The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, VA tweeted that Stafford, VA WR DaeSean Hamilton had committed to the Lions.

Hamilton is a 3-star recruit on all Rivals, Scout and 247, and 4 stars on ESPN. He was on campus with many of PSU’s current commitments and other targets this past weekend on an official visit.  He visited Virginia the previous weekend, and also held offers from Illinois, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Michigan State, among others. Hamilton becomes PSU’s 17th commitment in the 2013 class.

In other recruiting news, expect JUCO QB Jake Waters to make a decision this week as well.  Waters officially visited Kansas State this past weekend, and will pick between the Wildcats and Penn State, with plans to enroll in January.
